1. the reason why i couldn't update my blog for almost half a month.
１．どうして半月ぐらいずっとブログの更新できない理由。

it's exam preparation time!
試験準備期間でございまーす！

this semester i took ONLY 16 classes, but i felt that's quite a lot actually. is it just me who thinks that the classes are getting really tough? i felt like all the Japanese i learnt so far wasn't enough to read the textbooks. sometimes i have to repeat it 3-4 times before i could understand. well, the classes are indeed getting pretty tough, but i guess i'm facing my "language wall" right now.
今学期は１６コの科目をとっているが、思ったよりも多いような気がする。てか、授業の難度が急に上がってないんですか？正直、今まで勉強してきた日本語が足 りないほど、教科書がうまく、それに速く読めないな。３～４回ぐらい読んでからやっと理解できるような教科書ばっかり。まぁ、授業が難しくなるというのも あるけど、「言語の壁」っていうのがすごく感じた今日この頃。

and lots of presentations and debates! i really need to speed up the translation process from IND - JP in my head. i want to express my thoughts the way they are. heh, and my friends suggested me to learn Kansai dialect (^^;)
発表や討論も多くなってきています。頭の中の、インドネシア語→日本語の通訳プロセスは、今よりも速くならなきゃいけないんだ。思いや想いをそのまま言葉にしたい。んで、友達のアドバイスは、関西弁を勉強してみたらどうって(^^;)

for me, this is a challenge in Japanese i need to surpass!
自分にとって、これが本当に乗り越えなきゃいけない日本語のチャレンジ！

have to pray, pray, pray, and fight for it!
祈って祈って祈ってがんばらなきゃ！

CHALLENGE. some people think that challenge is fun, but when you're struggling with it, i don't think it's that 'fun'. hey, who in the world thinks that exams are fun? but the point is to focus on the goal, not running away from the challenges but accomplishing the mission. that's where you will feel challenge is EXCITING. so the key is the right focus!
チャ レンジって、楽しいという人は多いけど、もがいてやっている中にはあんまり楽しくはないと思う。だいたい、試験が本当の意味で楽しいっていう人はこの世に いるか？だけど、最終的な目標をフォーカスし、自分の挑戦から逃げずに目的を成し遂げることができたら、それが本当に楽しい。なので、鍵は正しいフォーカスであること！

2. this month, 4 of my friends left Japan. in order of departure, J, S, the other M, and A who is still in Japan.
２．今月は、海外に行ってしまった人が４人ほどもいる。順番を追って、Ｊ，Ｓ、もう一人のＭ、そしてまだ日本にいるＡ。

this brings back the memory of words my friend said to me when i left for Japan.
日本に行く前に、友人が自分に向かって言ったあの言葉を思い出した。

"PEOPLE GO TO WHERE THEY BELONG."
「人は、自分の居るべき場所へ去ってゆくものだ。」

everytime i recall these words, i feel a bit sad. i never like saying goodbye to someone. but, i believe that people have their own place they need to go to fulfill their destiny, and i do believe there will be time when we'll meet again. sometime, somewhere.
この言葉を思い出すたびに、ちょっと切ない気持ちが膨らんでく。誰かとお別れするのは、好きじゃない。だけど、人には、自分の使命を果たすには行かなければならない場所があると信じています。そして、また会える日がやって来るのだろう。いつか、どこかで。

today's blog is about the other M. this M was the leader of Resource team in my church JLH.
今回のブログは、もう一人のＭについてお話いたします。Ｍは自分のチャーチのＪＬＨのリソースチームリーダーでした。

last year. there were only two members of JLH Resource team: K and M. can you imagine there were only two people preparing the tables in the church and making the welcome packs? a Resource team member would understand how hard it is no matter how much is the time given. however, these two were faithful and did not complain at all. so awesome! i really respect these two. and God answered their faithfulness, and made the Resource team grow as it is right now.
去年。ＪＬＨの リソースチームのメンバーはＫさんとＭ、そのおふたりだけであった。テーブル準備＋ウェルカムパック作りをふたりだけでやるなんて思えないでしょう？いく ら時間があるとしても、どんだけ大変なのか、リソースチームメンバーだったら分かるはずだ。それでも、文句を一言も言わずに忠実にやってくれた。すご かったよ、おふたりは！とても尊敬してます。そして、神様はこのおふたりの忠実さに答えて、リソースチームを今のように成長させてくれたんだ。

for me, M is a living example of the next verse.
自分にとって、Ｍの存在は次の御言葉のようです。

"Take care! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired, ... But when you give to someone, don't tell your left hand what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in secret, and your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you." - Matthew 6:1,4
「人にほめられようと、人前で善行をみせびらかさないよ うにしなさい。・・ですから、人に親切にする時は、右手が何をしているか左手でさえ気づかないくらいに、こっそりとしなさい。そうすれば、隠されたことは どんな小さなことでもご存じの天の父から、必ずごほうびがいただけます。」－マタイ６：１，４

this M didn't stand out, but M did what needed to be done. not much people saw or knew what M did, but this M played an important role. this M is the real "background person"! but those who know M understands: M is an amazing leader! and that's why, people followed this M.
目立たないのに、やらなきゃいけないことをきちんとやる。誰にも見えない働きをし、また誰にも気付かないのに、というか気付いてくれないのに、重要な役割を果たしていた。本物の「裏人間」です。だけど、このＭを知っている人々が分かるように、ついていくべき素晴らしいリーダーだった。だからこそ、みんなはこのＭについていった。

i believe this M will be a leader and a role model in whatever M does and wherever M goes.^^
どこに行っても、何をやっても、模範を示すリーダーになると信じてます。＾＾

also, thanks to M&M for arranging the farewell party! from booking the restaurant 'til MC-ing and the speech, awesome! you two are the BEST. i'm counting on you two from now!
それと、送別会の幹事のＭ＆Ｍにお疲れ様です！店の予約から司会・スピーチなど、本当に素晴らしかった。おふたり最高だよ！本当に、これから頼りになるよぉー！
