alrite, back to my diary. recent condition.
はい、日記に戻ります。最近の状況です。

my research is a bit tough, but quite fun^^ when am sitting in front of PC, time just flies - lol. well here's what i've been researching:
研究室は大変ですが、楽しいです^^　パソコンの前に座ってれば、何時間が経つかもう分からなくなっちゃうｗｗｗ　研究内容はこれです：

i'm trying to simulate anemone and jellyfish's movement on PC - yes, i know what u're thinking lol. recently i've been spending so much time there ... (^^;)
アネモネやクラゲの動きをパソコン上で再現するという、シミュレーションの研究（苦笑）　最近は研究室を出るのが遅くなってて・・・(^^;)

also, qualification exam! june is coming really fast, and i want to finish the textbook i'm using now before april, but i've got 90 pages left! while thinking will i ever finish this book, i usually study in the library ... (^^;)
そして、検定勉強！もうそろそろ６月やし、いまの教科書を４月までに終わらせたいけど、残りは９０ページ！これって終わんのかよぉーと思いながら、図書館でいつも勉強してる・・・(^^;)

my fav player in NBA is no other than Kobe Bryant^^

両親がレストランのメニューで見た大人気の「神戸」のビーフにちなんで、「Kobe」と名付けてくれたそうです。
his parents named him after the famous beef of Kobe, Japan, which they saw on a restaurant menu.

今回はこの動画が出てさ、ホントかウソかということでネット上のみんなが騒いでるのよ。彼が走っているアストン・マーティン車を跳び越えたという動画！！！
here is an interesting video about him which made such a fuss over the internet. in this video, he jumped over a moving Aston Martin car!!!

小さい頃から、彼の美しいプレイ、特に彼のTHREE-POINT SHOOTに憧れてましてですね。あんなにフィールドでマジックを起こしてポイントを奪ったなんて、すごすぎる！！！ＮＢＡでは、ひとゲームで８１ポイントを入れたことで一番多くスコアを奪ったトップ２となったし、更に、ひとゲームでTHREE-POINTを１２回も入れたという伝説をも作ったし！自分はバスケできないけど、この人はホンモノの天才だ^^
i like him since i was a child - his beautiful play, his THREE-POINT SHOOT. he has the magic in the field to create points - which is so cool!!! in NBA, with 81 points during a game, he became the second person with the most points in a game. in addition, he became a legend after scoring THREE-POINT twelve times in a game! i can do no basketball, but he's for real^^

now since we're men, we don't talk - we eat - lol. our table with 6 people ate more than 3 kg of meat!!! we didn't even eat any veggies except kimuchi. really, a festival of meat! we had a great fellowship time together.
男性だから、話すよりも、食べ続けていたｗｗｗ　自分のテーブルは６人で３キロ以上の焼肉食べてたよぉ！！！キムチ以外の野菜は何も注文しなかったし。本当に肉のフェスだね（笑）みんなと本当にいい時間過ごせたよ！

now what makes foreigners different from japanese is this: melon soda mixed with pepsi! there were also guys who drank melon soda mixed with calpis water! eccentric ne. i wonder how those drinks taste like (^^;)
外国人もいたので、外人っぽいと思うようなトコもある。この男は、メロンソーダ＋ペプシーを混ぜて飲んでます！他には、メロンソーダ＋カルピスウォーターのミックスも！変わったなぁｗｗｗ　どんな味でしょうね(^^;)

so my 7th semester had begun.
（やっと）第７学期が始まりました。

i don't know whether that's a good news or a bad one but that means one year left 'til my graduation; which also means one year left to play to my heart's content - lol.
それっていいことかどうか知らんけど、卒業するまでは残り１年間だね。思いっきり遊ぶ時間も残り１年間かぁ（笑）

and last semester results? pretty good. i got most of my credits, and passed some classes with "B" even tough i skipped a lot due to job hunting. THANKS TO ALL MY TEACHERS!
前学期の成績はまあまあいいかな。単位は取れてたし、シューかつでサボりまくってレポート提出すらできなかった科目でも「良」を頂きいたし。先生よ、マジでありがとう！

what's so heaven about 7th sem?
んで、第７学期は何がheavenみたいかって？

well, my RESEARCH topic for this semester has been decided - and it's something pretty much fun (i hope)!
今学期の研究テーマはすでに決まっていて、かなり面白い（はず）ですよ！

SUMMARY: CG rendering reproducing color structure principles within the butterfly and peacock's colorful wings, and also within the sapphire-colored fish scale. a simulation research on form creation using mathematical structure principles within sea shells and leaves, mineral's crystals, liquid and mountain creations.
概要：蝶々や孔雀、瑠璃色魚の色彩的に美しく輝く羽や鱗の構造色の原理を再現するCGレンダリング。巻貝や植物の葉脈、鉱物の結晶、流体や造山運動の数理的な構造原理を応用した形態生成シミュレーションの研究。

up here is an example of my teacher's art. uh, don't worry, even i still don't get what it is anyway, so i'm with you, guyz^^
上がうちの先生の作品です。うーん、自分も何をやるかもまだ理解してないだけど、何となく面白そう^^

if you learn some CG arts, you would know that rendering process takes A LOT OF TIME. for example, it takes 43 years to render "Toy Story" on one computer. Disney actually used around 117 computers to finish it within a year. well, the data size was 34 Terabytes so yeah^^ i won't make a CG movie that long, so let's hope i can finish it on time.
えーと、CGアートを勉強したことがあるなら、分かると思うんだけど、レンダリングってすごい時間かかるの。例えば、「トイ・ストーリ」のレンダリングは、１台のパソコンでやると４３年間かかるんだって！ちなみに、１年間終わらせるのにディズニーは１１７台のパソコンを使ったそうです。だって、データサイズが３４テラバイトなんだもん^^ まぁ、それほどの長いCGムービーを作らないから、今学期で終わらせるように。

since i only have my research, does that mean i'm SUPER FREE?
今学期は研究しかないということで、スーパー暇ってことですか？

nope, not exactly (^^;)
いいえ、全くもって(^^;)

am currently studying for my future job. there will be a qualification exam coming up on June, and it's rather difficult. God has given me a great future job, but with that comes great responsibility. i've been trying to catch up with it but still has a long way to go!
今は来年の仕事のための勉強をしてましてですね。６月にかなり難しい検定試験があってさ。神様はすごくいい仕事を与えてくれたけど、それに伴う大きな責任もあるわけよ。毎日勉強しても今のペースじゃダメかもしれないから、もっと早くしなきゃ！

so yeah, here goes study.
そうじゃ、また勉強だ。
