2 Samuel 9 talks about Mephibosheth.

i'll just summarize because it's too long to write.
長すぎるので、書くよりもまとめておくね。

Mephibhoseth was supposed to have a great life. he was a grandson of the King Saul, and could have been a king if Saul didn't do stupid mistakes. then there was the war, and he became crippled and was left alone without anyone to help. suddenly his life left him no future.
メフィボセテはいい人生を歩んだはずだ。彼はサウル王の孫であり、サウル王が間違いを犯してなかったら王になるかもしれない。しかし戦争の後、彼は足が不自由になって、一人ぼっちになったのだ。彼の人生にはもはや希望がなかった。

BUT, King David invited him to the palace, and let him eat from the royal table! he restored Mephibosheth to the honor of being a prince.
でも、ダビデ王は彼を宮殿で暮らすように誘って、また彼に王の食卓につく権利を与えてくれたのだ！ダビデ王はメフィボセテの王子としての光栄を取り戻してくれたのだ。

there are 4 points we can learn from this story:
この話から４ついのポイントについて学ぶことができます：

1. just like King David remembered Mephibosheth, God remembers us.
ダビデ王がメフィボセテを思い出したように、神様はわたしたちを決して忘れてはいない。

2. we need to respond to God's calling.
わたしたちも神様の誘いに答える必要がある。

King David invited him to the palace, and he had to make the choice to go there and to respond - just like as: we need to respond to God's calling.
ダビデ王は彼を宮殿に誘ったが、彼は行くかどうかを選択しなければならない。同様に、わたしたちも神様の誘いに答える必要がある。

3. we need to stop blaming God or people or ourself.
神様、他の人、または自分を責めることをやめなければいけない。

a dark past is not an excuse to blame anyone! we need to deal with issues we had in the past or issues we're still struggling with - not running away from them. God comes to heal us from our past, so let's stop the hide-and-seek and be honest with Him.
暗い過去は誰かを責める言い訳にはなりません！わたしたちは、過去に抱えていた問題、または今でも抱えている問題と向き合って戦わなければいけないのだ。逃げてばかりじゃどうにもならない。神様はわたしたちを過去から救い出すためにやって来たので、この隠れん坊をやめて神様に対して正直にいこう。

Mephibosheth had a terrible life, but God wants to heal his heart first before restoring his priviledges as a prince. the same with us: God wants to heal our broken hearts.
メフィボセテはとても残酷な人生を歩んできたのだが、神様は王子としての特権を取り戻す前に彼の心を癒したいんだ。わたしたちも同じく、神様はわたしたちの壊れた心を癒したいんだ。

4. God wants to restore ALL our's potentials and dreams!
神様はわたしたちのすべての可能性と夢を取り戻したいんだ！

here's the good news: God wants to give you a great future! He wants to heal us from our past, and to invite us to His royal palace! He wants to restore our honor as His princes!
神様はわたしたちにばら色の将来を与えたいんだ！神様はわたしたちの過去から癒して、紙の宮殿に誘いたいんだ！神様はわたしたちに神の王子としての栄光を取り戻したいんだ！

we are God's precious sons, and nothing can change that!
わたしたちは神様の大切な息子たちであり、そして誰もそれを変えることができない！

if you have problems you think you need help, pray to God, and also talk to the church leaders you can trust. also lifegroup is really a good place to share and to help each other. we are not to face them alone. by dealing with major issues you have in your past, you are preparing yourself to embrace the future God has provided for you.
助けが必要な問題があったら、神様に祈って、信用できるチャーチリーダーに話してください。ライフグループは本当に分かち合い、助け合うとてもいい場所だと思う。一人で戦う必要がありません。過去にあった問題を素直に向き合ってこそ、神様が準備してくれた将来を抱くことが出来るのだ。
